Wedding Photographer Marrakesh – The Morocco elopement from Steph and Maurice still makes our heart beat faster! So excited to finally share this adventure with you and one thing we can tell you – it’s a must see! It’s such a gift and we’re so happy to be able to get to know so many wonderful people and to accompany them on the happiest days of their lives. When we went on our adventure trip from Marrakesh to Merzouga in February, we never thought we’d get back here so quickly – especially not as a wedding photographer Marrakesh. Back then we discovered the beautiful outback where we explored the Atlas Mountains, the Desert d Agafay and also the impressive Dunes of Merzouga! We documented everything and shared some beautiful pics and a short time later Steph and Maurice reached out to us. These two Australians are simply the craziest because they decided to travel all the way to North Africa for their Morocco elopement. These guys just rented a whole Riad in the old Medina – the heart of the city! And even better.. they asked us to spend a few days with them together in this Riad. And so it happened that in July we were back on the plane to Marrakesh – a city like from a long past century. In contrast to our first trip in February, it now was much hotter – around 40 to 50°C!! Luckily we’ve made it to the Riad alive, 🙂 where we met our lovely couple for the first time in person. And also their best friend Grace came all the way from Australia to celebrate together. In the evening we went out for dinner together and made some plans for the big day. On the wedding day, after breakfast we went to the center searching for a florist at the Souks. After Steph has chosen some pretty flowers she created a really beautiful bouquet out of it.. Then these two Beauties got ready and had their first look at the Riad. Before we headed to the desert, we decided to take some pics with them in the beautiful, but crazy streets of Marrakesh. On our way to the Desert d Agafay a herd of goats and sheeps crossed our way and so we had a quick stop for another short photo session. The open range was breathtaking and the lowly evening sun enveloped everything in it’s golden light. In contrast to the city there was a pleasant wind blowing and it was just quite and peaceful. Then it was getting really exciting because the moment has come.. These Lovers exchanged vows in the middle of the Moroccan desert. When we think back to this intimate, emotional and magical moment we still get goosebumps.
Back at the Riad we ended up the day together with a glass of wine and some good conversations.. We wanna thank you guys so much and we’re forever grateful we’ve become a part of your adventure! Wishing you only the best for your future together – you guys rock! Hopefully we’ll meet again one day – on whatever continent!
