Das Marrakesh Elopement von Steph und Maurice l\u00e4sst immer noch unsere Herzen h\u00f6her schlagen. Wir k\u00f6nnen es gar nicht so richtig fassen was f\u00fcr ein Geschenk es ist, so viele wundervolle Menschen kennenlernen zu d\u00fcrfen und sie an den gl\u00fccklichsten Tagen ihres Lebens zu begleiten. Als wir im Februar unsere Abenteuerreise von Marrakesh nach Merzouga antraten h\u00e4tten wir nie gedacht, dass es uns so schnell wieder hierhin zur\u00fcck verschl\u00e4gt. Damals haben wir zum Teil mit Guide, zum Teil auf eigene Faust die wundervolle Landschaft, das beeindruckende Atlas Gebirge und die angrenzende Steinw\u00fcste Agafay sowie den Sahara Ausl\u00e4ufer Merzouga erkundet. Nat\u00fcrlich haben wir immer flei\u00dfig fotografiert und schon kurze Zeit sp\u00e4ter erreichte uns die E-mail von Steph und Maurice. Die Beiden Australier erz\u00e4hlten und von ihren Pl\u00e4nen in der W\u00fcste Nordafrikas zu heiraten. Die Zwei haben im Zentrum von Marrakesh, der alten Medina, ein ganzes Riad f\u00fcr sich gemietet und fragten uns, ob wir ein paar Tage mit im Riad wohnen m\u00f6chten. Au\u00dferdem war auch die beste Freundin Grace mit aus Australien angreist. Und so kam es, dass wir im Juli wieder im Flugzeug nach Marrakesh sa\u00dfen, eine Stadt wie aus einer anderen Zeit. Im Gegensatz un unserem Trip im Februar war es jetzt um einiges hei\u00dfer, so um die 40-50\u00b0C. Erstaunlicherweise haben wir das aber genau so gut weggesteckt, wie unsere Australischen Freunde.<\/p>\n

Am Tag des Marrakesh Elopement sind wir nach einem gemeinsamen Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck im Riad dann zusammen ins Zentrum um in den Souks einen Blumenh\u00e4ndler ausfindig zu machen. Steph hat sich ein paar h\u00fcbsche Blumen ausgesucht und dann im Riad einen sch\u00f6nen Brautstrau\u00df daraus gebastelt. Da kann sich der ein oder andere Florist noch eine Scheibe abschneiden\u2026 \ud83d\ude00
\nNach dem Getting Ready un einem First Look im Riad sind wir dann zuerst noch einmal in die Gassen Marrakesh\u2019s um ein paar Portraits mit City Flair zu schie\u00dfen. Anschlie\u00dfend hat uns unser Guide in die W\u00fcste Agafay gefahren. Unterwegs haben wir noch einen Stopp eingelegt um ein paar Bilder mit einer vorbeiziehenden Schafs-\/Ziegenherde zu machen, bevor es dann so weit war und die Beiden sich ihre Eheversprechen in der W\u00fcste Marokkos gaben. In der W\u00fcste ging im Gegensatz zur Stadt ein angenehmer Wind und die tief stehende Abendsonne lie\u00df alles in einem wundersch\u00f6nen Goldgelb erstrahlen. Wenn wir an diesen besonderen und emotionalen Moment zur\u00fcck denken bekommen wir noch immer G\u00e4nsehaut. Zur\u00fcck im Riad lie\u00dfen wir den Abend mit einem Gl\u00e4schen Wein in einer gem\u00fctlichen Runde ausklingen.<\/p>\n

Wir freuen uns so sehr ein Teil diese Abenteuers geworden zu sein und w\u00fcnschen Euch nur das Beste f\u00fcr die Zukunft! Hoffentlich sehen wir uns irgendwann einmal wieder – auf welchem Kontinent auch immer!<\/p>\n
