Kayla and Jay’s Tulum Wedding was such a dream!! We’re so excited to finally share it with you here on the Blog! You probably might have noticed that we’ve been traveling through Mexico a lot during the last few month. The Yucatan Peninsula is for sure one of the most unique places we’ve ever been to. Actually Chris has been dreaming of exploring this beautiful piece of earth since the movie Apocalypto. (where are all the Mel Gibson Fans out there? 😉
We were totally blown away by the nature, the jungle with it’s cenotes, the wildlife and of course the ancient Mayan ruins overlooking the white sand beaches of the caribbean. What a place to tie the knot! We’re so thankful to Kayla and Jay for having us as a part of their dreamy Tulum Wedding and for sharing this amazing day with us. These two are such lovely and warmhearted personalities and they immediately grew dear to us from the moment we first met.
As for their wedding venue they chose Nest Tulum – A lovely venue with loads of Boho vibez amazingly decorated by archieverentals to make it even more shine. It is located right at the beach! Since it’s one of only a few venues where it’s possible to book exclusively it felt like a piece of paradise in the Tulumy hustle and bustle. That makes it the perfect fit for an intimate Tulum Wedding and also Kayla and Jay celebrated only with their closest families..
Omg – wait until you see the amazing ceremony backdrop created from the talented florist Maria Limon. Also the timing for the ceremony was just perfect! Kayla and Jay exchanged their emotional vows short before sunset. You know that’s exactly when the colors of the ocean turn into magic! 🙂 Magic is the right description for the entire day which was perfectly planned and styled by Gianna San Filippo! It was an absolute pleasure to capture these twos special day in Mexico.

These two decided for a Sunset Ceremony to make their Tulum Wedding even more special! It’s the best choice if you want to get married with a sea-view at Tulum beach, as you’ll have a more equal lighting then.
Kayla’s father officiated the ceremony which made it super personal!
