Tuscany Wedding – Villa Vignalunga
Few weeks back we were allowed to work as Tuscany wedding photographer. If you’re planning an open air summer wedding you should definitely think about a tuscany wedding! The Villa Vignalunga is like being made for an unforgettable celebration and we were truly impressed about the great selection of deco goods, the sweet owner Gaia offers. We love all the stylish accessories, such as fairy lights, cross back chairs and rugs.. But let’s start from the very beginning! Our couple found us on Instagram and asked if we were still free this June – the cool thing was that they were planning to have the Tuscany Wedding during the week on a Wendnesday. Perfect! If we’d get married again, we would probably do the same! Rent a Villa or Finca and simply spend a few days with our loved ones.. As you may know, we always wanted to travel around Europe with a caravan and now this became reality. And it should become an unforgettable trip. Because short before the Tuscany Wedding we had another wedding booked in the South of France and so we’ve rented the camper for a whole week. Then the crazy ride started – almost thousand kilometers to Toulon where we shot the sunset session with Barbara and Maxime.. Then back to Grasse – the home of the perfume, where we shot the wedding of Vivi and Nico.. Before we finally took the long but uniquely beautiful path along the Cote d Azure down to Grosetto and Villa Vignalunga. Finally enjoyed a long awaited cup of Italian coffee and then we were quite excited to meet our lovely couple in real life for the first time. The complete wedding was open air and surrounded by orange trees and with a view on the rolling hills of the Tuscany. There were Vineyards, cypress hills and olive groves as far as the eye could see. And in the evening you could enjoy the balmy summer nights with a class of Chianti, listening to some live music. How dreamy is that? For the first part of the portrait session we went to the horse paddock with the newlyweds.. We really love everything about the pics with the horses and the cute donkey. For the second part of the portraits our Bride jumped into her evening outfit! A long sleeve dress, that she has designed and created in collaboration with her seamstress! She looks so hot in it, isn’t she? And also the peach color harmonies perfectly with the sunset mood.. We recommend to all our couples to schedule this time during sunset for some few portraits and it’s always worth it! And these cute newlyweds have enjoyed this escape to the fullest.
Another little fun fact: At this wedding we’ve met the sweet videographer couple Jaci and Leif from California and after we’ve talked a bit we found out that we will accompany another wedding together next year! so stay tuned! We’re excited to meet these lovely humans again soon and who knows.. maybe there’s a friendship growing 🙂 we would be happy about that!
Now please enjoy immersing in this beautiful Tuscany Wedding!
All the best,
Chris and Ruth
